Upper Kachura lake
It is one of the most breathtaking tourist destinations in Skardu. Kachura lake has motor boating and a conventional boating facility for tourists. In Skardu, theres no high jet boating. It may be available in the coming seasons.
Conventional boating has more fun as compared to motorized boats. A solo trip within this lake is like lost somewhere in heaven.
Katpana desert counted on the list of the highest desert in the world. It is roughly 7,800ft above sea level.
Manthoka rock Skardu is around 12,00 years old engraved picture of Buddha on a granite rock. A Scottish traveler back in 1906 discovered Buddha rock. Buddha rock then included in international heritage assest.
Deosai Plains is considered to be the world’s second-largest plateau following Tibet. The highest plateau Deosai is situated at 14,000ft above sea level. A trip to Skardu without visiting Deosai is like not missing the last puff. The most scenic period of Deosai is between June to August. Deosai is the only home of brown bears in Pakistan.
