Skardu; Digitisation project of all land record, domicile or resident certificates, licences and all other sorts of certificates including death certificates and birth certificates has been kicked off.

In this project all land record of Skardu is going to switch on to an online app and you can get your information anywhere, any place and anytime. This project is meant to comes out from the conventional document record keeping method, which is very expensive as well as a very filthy technique.

Skardu land record keeping method will be a replica of system already operating in Lahore.

In the first phase of this project, documents scanning of Khalang Ranga and Gamba Skardu in progress and soon will be digitise, then the step wise project will goes on.

Deputy commissioner Khurran Pervaiz visited the Tehsile office Skardu on 2nd May 2020, where he overlooked the revenue records. At the same instance technical manager of Urban planning and Management service Lahore Mubashir Hussain briefed the staff about digitisation of revenue records project in detail. During his briefing he stated that all land records, licences (vehicles and guns), domicile, death certificates and birth certificates will soon be online and accessible to everyone easily. He also assured that the online system far more better than the conventional method, online system is very transparent.
