An unfortunate incident of fire eruption at Portway Trade Centre, Karachi last night, which severely impacted the front side of the building.
No casualties were reported despite being rated as a 3rd degree fire incident.
However most of the offices located at the front side are severely damaged and have faced massive losses in terms of furniture, fixtures, inventory, and documents.
The initial investigation stated that the cause of the fire was due to a fire in Bank Alfalah or the other courier shop, which resulted in the fire spreading to the top floor of the building. Sadly, all offices on the front side of the building have been severely burnt. No causalities been reported, one person had to jump from the building to save their life.
