Results in the political agenda of affiliation of GB with Kashmir issue, without consent of the people of GB. The region is still nowhere in gaining their basic rights.
The legislative assembly is in power in GB. But the real power is in hands of sitting in Islamabad, and the assembly members are just a tool to execute the command given to them and legislative assembly having no power to formulate any law by their own.
Gilgit Baltistan legislative assembly consists of 33 seats: 24 independent electoral seats, 6 women quota and 3 technocrats.
