Chief secretary office of Gilgit Baltistan just announced that students from LUMS will be engaging in IT boot camp across Gilgit Baltistan. LUMS students will be spending their summer holidays in highschool and colleges across Gilgit Baltistan.
The prime goal of this boot camp is to educate the deprived society of GB in the field of information technology. The underprivileged students, who can’t afford to get into the top universities in Pakistan can get an exposure from these IT students of LUMS.
Its indeed a golden step taken by GB government to uplift the education standard. While, some people are making critiques on it blaming it as a waste of money.
