Fly Dubai plane catches fire after taking off from Kathmandu International Airport, Nepal. The aircraft tries to land in an emergency.
A video capturedb y a local is heart wrenching on social media while the safe landing of plane is yet to be confirmed. The flame is fire looks like from the jet engine of plane which is blinking randomly. The cause of fire might be due to some technical issues. The pre-flying test of the plane is under doubt after this huge risk.
Civil Aviation Authority Nepal release a statement states that, “Fly Dubai flight number 576, (Boeing 737-800) Kathmandu to Dubai flight is normal now and proceeding to her destination Dubai as per the flight plan.
Kathmandu airport operation normal from 1614 UTC (09:59pm local time).”
