Shimshal’s climbing prodigy Sohana Qudrat has completed the 4th High Altitude trail run to Batura. Day 1: She ran for 21.85km in 4hrs 17mins
Day 2: She ran for 17.36km in 2hrs 52mins
She completed this trail on May 19, 2022. Many congratulations to Sohana Qudrat for this achievement. Sohana and her father putting their fullest effort to promote sustainable tourism in Gilgit Baltistan.
Recently Sohana Qudrat completed her trail run from Minapin to Rakaposhi BC in 2hrs 2min on May 17, 2022, with her father. Her father is also an acclaimed mountaineer named Qudrat Ali. It was a steep trail and she did it with ease.
Sohana Qudrat is in the business for so long. She summited an unclimbed technical peak in Shimshal (5,387 m) last year. Her team including Sadia Maqbool successfully summited the unclimbed peak in Shimshal on October 9, 2021.
