Reason for opposing provincial status of Gilgit Baltistan
The key reason behind the resistance is the fear of land grabbing and penetration of outsiders. The reason for worrying is huge for no doubt. To understand the mastermind behind this hooliganism against the people of Gilgit Baltistan, we need to look back into our past.
During the regime of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, he played very well and hypnotized the whole territory. ZAB ordered to end up the royal system from Gilgit Baltistan and removed state subject rule at the same time. When everyone was focusing on glittering freedom from the royal families, ZAB and state paralyzed the region silently.
The people of GB have the rightful authority to demand the restoration of state subject rule across the border. But the provincial status is all different and we must accept it open-heartedly.

There will be a representation of Gilgit Baltistan in the national assembly and senate. These members will be having equal authority like other members. This was one of the demands of all nationalist parties. Finally, the basic right of representation has been given to GB. Gilgit Baltistan has the reach to say their regional challenges.
We must gracefully accept this status. In the interest of the people and future generations of Gilgit Baltistan, we should demand the restoration of state subject rule separately instead of opposing the provisional provincial status. The provisional provincial status is very important in the interest of GB, CPEC, and the state of Pakistan.
