Borith Lake Hunza is located at the height of above 8500+ feet above seal level and is a safe heaven for the migrated birds in summer from the hot areas. This lake lies in between the Gulmit valley of Hunza and Passu Glacier. This tourist attraction site is the best one for couples, book readers, and meditation lovers to stay on for a couple of days or weeks.

This lake water reserve is slightly saline and easily drinkable. Borith never comes under the spotlight before. It’s considered to be the most underrated lake located in Gilgit Baltistan.

How to reach Borith Lake Hunza?

There are two different means to reach Borith lake Hunza:

  1. Traveling by vehicle
  2. Trekking to Borith lake

Traveling to Borith lake

The only available route is jeep road. Gulmit is only 3km apart from this magical lake. Traveling from Gulmit to Borith lake via jeep takes around 30 to 40 minutes. The road to birds’ heaven is full of natural beauties

Trekking to Borith Lake

The trekking route is very mesmerizing and beautiful. Trekking journey starts from Gulmit and takes around 2 to 3 hours for locals and an hour extra for the tourists. Most tourists and explorers recommend opting trekking option over traveling.
